Paul is a total ham. He likes to be the center of attention and likes people to laugh at him. (Until he doesn't). I was getting my camera out so we could take it on a hike with us and Paul kept wanting me to take his picture. Then he would ask to see and would crack up at himself. What a goof. The first picture isn't great, but he kept showing Lily his new shoes. He almost stepped on her face while he was busy telling her how they made him run fast and jump high. I was too busy trying to get a picture while laughing to stop him, luckily Samantha was there protecting her. I sure do love these kids.

New Record High
Yesterday Colorado Springs had a record high of 75 degrees. It was a little crazy to watch the kids running around in bathing suits washing Adam's car. It made me wish for summer while at the same time dreading it a little (summer = no school = kids fighting). Samantha didn't want me taking her picture, then got a little goofy and kept trying to get me to take pictures of her backside. Oh to be 5. Paul was riding down the driveway on his bike giving me a heart attack. He goes WAY to fast for me to be comfortable and he doesn't watch where he's going. The other day he ran right into a fence, not going fast, just not looking where he was going. He is 100% my son (at least in that respect). At least he likes wearing his superman helmet.

Just Life
I keep thinking that I should post, but really there isn't a whole lot to talk about. Things have been busy, but pretty much the same for the last month or so. We have just been doing school/work/play/fill in the blank. Lily is growing WAY to fast and I wish I could freeze her just where she is. The other two grow too fast for my liking also, but it's less noticeable most days. Every one in awhile I will just stop and look at Samantha or Paul and think "how did you get so big? When did that happen?" Lily is sitting up really well on her own now and is no longer content to be lying on her back for long. I left her for a few minutes under a baby gym while I took a shower this morning and came out to find that she had rolled halfway across the room. She was just smiling and lying there, but movement is now happening all the time. Paul continues to progress really well in speech and is doing great at learning his letters. 2 days ago he wanted to start practicing them. The first day he got 36/52 (including both upper and lowercase letters). The second day it was up to 39 and yesterday he had bumped it up to 42. He also knows his numbers 0-5 (he can get some higher than that but not all) and is working on writing his name. It's fun to watch him be so motivated. Samantha continues to be my social butterfly and has at least 2 play dates/birthday parties/etc a week. Most of the time even that isn't enough for her. All in all life continues to be great, busy and great. The only downside is Adam dealing with an infected tooth and studying for his final tests in order to graduate and get licensed. Luckily that is over in a week and we will have him back to ourselves for a little while. Since no post is complete without at least one picture...
