Happy Birthday To You

Paul's First Birthday!!

Paul turned one a week ago (Tuesday) and I can hardly believe it. It was fun to watch him open his presents, even though Samantha did most of the actual opening. She kept saying, "I'm just going to HELP Paul" and then would do it all. Luckily he didn't really care. Tuesday was beautiful and so we decided to go over to Fox Run Park and have a little picnic. I hadn't planed on doing anything on his actual birthday, but Samantha insisted that he have "pupcakes" and open his presents from her. Then on Sunday we had cake (forgot the ice cream) with Adam's parents and my parents. Paul LOVED all his presents, especially the cars from Sammi and the car ramp toys from Kevin & Holly and my parents. Date Night

The other day Samantha wanted to have a date with her Daddy. She called him at work and invited him to come have dinner with her. She told me she needed to look "beau-i-ful" for him, and put on her fanciest dress and had me curl her hair. She then helped me set the table in the dining room with cloth napkins and candles. It was so cute, she was so excited that she hardly ate anything. She also had the two chairs RIGHT next to each other. Now she keeps asking him to take her to a movie.

This is Paul's favorite place...it's the end table right next to the couch. I think it's almost like a little fort for him, what a cutie!
