Grrr

So I just took 15 minutes and added a new post, and what happens? It doesn't go up. That'll teach you to use technology. I'll try to remember most of what I put and hopefully it'll go up quicker this time.

Yes I am sick. It was a sad day when I woke up and realized that for the next 2 months (give or take) I would never feel quite well. It started sometime the middle of this week with just generally not feeling well and was full blown by last night (Saturday). Luckily my version of full blown still isn't too awful and I can go on with my life, just not as happily as before. I am just blessed to have a wonderful husband and friends who are willing to help out. Adam has been having his tooth hurt, so it looks like tomorrow he'll have to get a root canal. No fun for him. Good thing he has been working so many hours that taking a few off won't be a problem. Other than a little sickness, and a toothache, we've been doing great. Our neighbors watched Sammi on Friday night so we could go out and she was thrilled. I don't think she noticed we were gone, and I swear she was a little disappointed when it was me rather than Brad and Kimmy that were waking her up on Saturday morning.

Other than that Samantha has been learning to point out things in books (we're working on pointing and naming people in pictures) So far she only says fish and star, but she'll repeat more if I tell her first. She is also becoming quite a dancer (she just moves her little feet as fast as she can). I'll try to get a video of that up on here in the next couple of days (that will take assistance from Adam so it could take longer). I was also looking for a picture I took earlier this summer and found these...
Nice uh? Just hanging out.
Other than that, nothing is really changing in our lives...just looking forward to all the trips coming up to see all of you.

Yogurt

So, the other night I was hoping to get away without giving Sammi a bath. Of course, without thinking I give the child yogurt. Not a smart move. Things were going fine until she decided to "drink" the yougrt, abandon the spoon and scoop it in with her hands, and play peek-a-boo so that it ended up all over her face. She had also pulled out her hair from the day so it's the complete package.

I'm also including pictures of her bath last night. The purple thing around her neck is an inflatable ring that she likes to put around her neck (it opens in the back) and wear like a necklace.

I'm actually surprised that she looks this happy, she hasn't been feeling well the last couple days and I think she's got a cold. It's no fun for her or for me, but at least she's still sleeping. If anyone wants to come out and have some quality time with "girl baby" Samantha, feel free, Adam and I have been looking foward to a vacation. :)

Hello!

I decided to start a blog (how fun is that) so that you lovely people who actually have an interest in my life can see what I'm doing at any given moment. Well, not quite that often, I mean really there are some parts that I am sure no one would like to see. This way I can also post pictures of my wonderful little darling so you can see what crazy things she's been up to.
(This first one is courtesy of Adam)

Sooo...the big news right of the bat, Adam and I are expecting again (can you believe it?) When I called the doctors office to set up my first appointment they told me my due date is May 20. However, according to NUMEROUS websites my due date is May 18. Since I believe in hopeful thinking, and two days less of being pregnant I will go with May 18. I guess it doesn't really matter because they come when they come, but hey, I can think what I want right?

Other than that, Adam is working all the time and gone at school so I'm being a single mom who's not actually single. I know Kelle is probably rolling her eyes as she glances at a picture of Chris to make sure she still knows what he looks like, but he is gone more than I'd like. As for me, I clean, do laundry, grocery shop, and all the other wonderful jobs that motherhood entails (I decided to leave the more graphic descriptions to your imagination).

So that's all for now, I'll leave you with a cute picture of Samantha on the new slide by our house (she looks scared to death of going down, but she really does love it)
